The opponents of the Dragons will be Montenegro on 23rd September in Zenica and Romania three days later in Bucharest.
Petev said at today’s press conference:
“We gather on 19th September and we have four days to prepare for the first match, which is very important to us. The list includes most of the players who were there in June and who deserved it with their attitude and professionalism. We have two important matches ahead of us, and the focus is on the first match with Montenegro. We will prepare well for the upcoming matches.”
The head coach commented on the national team of Montenegro:
“It is a serious team and I think they are more dangerous away than at home. The way they play tells us that. It is important to be ready for any situation that may happen during the match. We have shown a good game in the previous matches and this is a very important match for us. We want to get points; it doesn’t matter how. We have a lot of time and we will decide with which line-up we will oppose Montenegro.”
