A press conference was held today at the “House of Football” in Sarajevo, at which the head coach of the “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ivaylo Petev, announced the names of the players he was counting on in the World Cup qualifiers with Finland and Ukraine.

When asked whether he would continue to play in the current formation, the head coach answered:
“It is possible that we will play in the same way, but we will also look for some new things. It is important to be ready and to look better than before. There are no easy opponents and it is important what we will look like. I am optimistic, we want to play well and win.”
About the national team of Finland and their striker Pukki Petev says:
“He is not the only one who is dangerous, but we must be good and strong. I believe that we will do a good job and that we will not allow him too many opportunities. We are now focused on Finland, and later we will talk about Ukraine. I am sure that we will do a good job and I hope that these players, who are on the list, will be healthy and ready for the matches.”
The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will gather at the Austria & Bosnia Hotel in Ilidža on 8th November. Matches with Finland and Ukraine are scheduled for 13th and 16th November at the “Bilino Polje” in Zenica.
