This player was born on 3rd March 2003 in the Swedish city of Spånga, and before coming to Roma he played for FC Djursholm and Vasalunds IF.
About his first arrival among the Dragons, Tahirović says:
“When I travelled to the preparations, I was a little nervous, but everyone welcomed me in the best way and I feel great at this gathering. Everything is going well and I am proud to be a part of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.”
Benjamin Tahirović points out that his desire was only to perform for the BH team:
“For me, there was no doubt who I was going to play for. My wish was the jersey of the BiH national team. When head coach Hadžibegić and director Misimović talked to me, I liked the program they presented to me. Also, this is a national team that has quality players and I’m happy to be a part of it.”
The young midfield player is optimistic before the start of the qualifiers:
“The head coach told us that we had to win every match and I believe that we have the quality to achieve great results. We are not afraid of anyone; we are preparing in the best way and I am sure that we will not have any problems and that we will qualify for EURO 2024.”
Tahirović also spoke about his performances in Roma:
“I am grateful to coach Jose Mourinho for giving me the chance to play and for me to get minutes in some important matches, against Bologna and Milan. I still have a lot to do, to improve and I believe that I am on the right path.”
