The head coach of the BH national team, Ivaylo Petev, is helping to treat sick BH citizens with BAM 10,000

The head coach of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ivaylo Petev, who was not born in our country, but according to his own confession feels our people with his heart and soul, donated BAM 10,000 for the sick BH citizens in need of financial assistance for treatment.

Today, Petev paid a selfless and generous donation of BAM 10,000 to the Treatment Fund “Athletes for Life” of the humanitarian organization Pomozi.ba.

“From the first day of my arrival in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I knew I was in the right place. I’ve been through a lot of good and bad things in my life and the least I can do is repay myself this way. I came to B&H without people knowing a lot about me. Not professionally, but a little about what kind of person I am, and we all try to be good people in life. That should be a priority for all of us, despite the differences. Through conversations with the players, with many people from my environment, I realized how difficult it is to live in B&H and how much help people need, for food, for treatment, for everyday things that people lack”, said the head coach of the BH national football team.

He adds that he is happy to have people and players with him who are full of empathy and who like to help, because they consider it their obligation in a way.

“They inspired me with their kindness and I wanted to join them in the mission of helping the citizens of B&H. In that name, I decided to financially support the “Athletes for Life” Treatment Fund, founded by my captain, Edin Džeko, and Mirza Teletović, and thus help in the treatment of the sick BH citizens. As you say, ‘We only have what we give’, and if we manage to save at least one life, we have saved the whole world. These are our common victories”, says Ivaylo Petev.

The organization Pomozi.ba thanks the head coach of our national football team and wishes him good luck in the upcoming matches.
