Visits to Premier League clubs in Antalya

The head coach Faruk Hadžibegić and the director of the “A” national team Zvjezdan Misimović continue with the activities related to the preparation for what awaits the national team in March within the qualification for the European Championship.

After visiting several national team players, Hadžibegić and Misimović arrived in Antalya last night, where the Premier League clubs are preparing for the spring part of the competition.

The head coach and director of the national team met today with the representatives of FK Borac and FK Sarajevo.

Meetings with the representatives of FK Velež and FK Tuzla City are also planned for tomorrow, and, in the following period, the head coach will pay attention to monitoring all clubs of the m:tel BH Premier League with the aim of finding potential national team players.

The BH FF president Vico Zeljković, the head coach Faruk Hadžibegić, director of the “A” national team Zvjezdan Misimović, and adviser to the president Marko Miličić met last night in this Turkish city.

Zeljković said about this meeting:

“March is approaching and the beginning of the qualification for the European Championship. I already pointed out earlier that we got a custom-made group in the draw and that we have a real chance to win the first historical qualification for the EURO.

It is said that a good plan is half the work done. That’s why, at the working dinner, I talked to the head coach Faruk Hadžibegić, the director of the “A” national team Zvjezdan Misimović and the advisor Marko Miličić about the plans for the upcoming period, with an emphasis on the qualifying matches. I received first-hand information from the head coach and director about the condition of our national team players, current affairs regarding potential debutants and all other activities related to the “A” national team.

I’m glad to see everyone’s optimism and we really believe that next year we can qualify for the European Championship in Germany, which, I’ll repeat once again, would be a historic result.”
