Media representatives were interested in what the president said to the players, after which Zeljković addressed them and said, among other things:

“We held a short meeting with the players and the technical staff before tomorrow’s match. We looked back at the results in previous matches, where we won 5 points and we are in first place in the group. From that aspect, tomorrow’s match means a lot to us, because it can bring us closer to our goal, and that is ultimately the qualification for the European Championship. That is what we all strive for and believe that we can achieve it”, said Zeljković and continued:

“We have full confidence in these players who have shown that they have not forgotten to play football, despite attempts to create such an atmosphere. We were all above that and we didn’t succumb to pressure, first of all the players. We all have a great desire to go to the European Championships, and the first place gives us a better position in the qualifying draw for the EURO, which would make our job easier.”
