After a successful playing career, in which he made 84 caps for the BH national team and scored 26 goals, Misimović had various duties in the BH FF. He performed the tasks of team coordinator and technical director of the “A” national team, and advisor to the BH FF Executive Board for football issues.

In addition to the numerous successes that he achieved during his career, the most important is certainly the qualification for the 2014 World Cup, and the path to Brazil was exactly paved by Misimović, creating our team’s game with masterful moves.

“This is a big challenge for me, but I firmly believe that with my experience and knowledge, I will bring a new perspective on football and issues around it. I was always available, and everything I have been through in my career I’m ready to share with our players, technical staff, and the leadership of the Federation. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but there is a positive atmosphere in the dressing room, young talented players are coming from whom we can expect great things in the future. We are back in the “A” UEFA Nations League, and in the EURO qualifiers we have a chance to directly qualify for the final tournament, which is our goal”, concluded Misimović.
