The champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Sarajevo team, if successful in the first round against Celtic, will play with the winner of the match Nomme Kalju (Estonia) vs. Shkendija (Macedonia) in the next round. In case of elimination by the Scottish champion, Sarajevo will continue the competition in the third round of the UEFA Europa League.
The matches of the second round of the Champions League are scheduled for 23/24th July and 30/31st July.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has three representatives in the UEFA Europa League.
The winner of two matches Široki Brijeg - Kairat Almaty will play in the second qualifying round with the better team from the matches KF Laci (Albania) vs. Hapoel Beer-Sheva (Israel).
If it wins Akademija Pandev, Zrinjski will play with the Dutch Utrecht in the second qualifying round.
In case of victory against Spartak Trnava, Radnik would have a Bulgarian representative, the Lokomotiv Plovdiv team, for its opponent in the second round.
The matches of the second round of the UEFA Europa League will be played on 25th July and 1st August.
