Mersudin Ahmetović the best player of BH Telecom Premier League of B&H

The manifestation of the selection of the best individuals of the league competitions under the auspices of the FF BH was held at the Terme Hotel in Ilidža tonight.

The evening’s ceremony was attended by the players and technical staffs of the “A” and U-21 national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The event was opened by a convenient speech of the FF BH first vice-president, Milorad Sofrenić.

The best player of BH Telecom Premier League of B&H for the 2018/19 season is Sarajevo striker Mersudin Ahmetović. The coaches and captains of our elite football competition gave the highest number of votes to Ahmetović, who left behind Miloš Filipović from Zrinjski and Dražen Bagarić from Široki Brijeg.

Ahmetović did not attend tonight’s event, and the award, on his behalf, was received from Milorad Sofrenić by the sports director of Sarajevo, Emir Hadžić.

Mersudin Ahmetović is the fifth player to receive this award, and before him, the awards for the best BH championship players were won by Wagner Santos Lago, Zajko Zeba, Miroslav Stevanović and Goran Zakarić.

The best goalkeeper of the Premier League is Vladan Kovačević from Sarajevo. The closest competitors to Kovačević were Luka Bilobrk (Široki Brijeg) and Ivan Brkić (Zrinjski).

The award to Kovačević was handed over by the goalkeeper of the BH “A” national team, Ibrahim Šehić.

The best scorer in this season is Sulejman Krpić from Željezničar who sent balls 16 times into the opponents’ nets and the award was handed to him by Edin Džeko.

Husref Musemić was named the best coach, and the award was received on his behalf from Robert Prosinečki by the president of FK Sarajevo Senad Jahić.

A special award was given to the referee Amer Macić from Mostar, who with calm reaction saved the life of the home team defender Dino Bevab at the BHT PL match Tuzla City vs. Sarajevo, when after a collision with an opponent he lost consciousness. The prize was handed over to him by the second vice-president of the FF BH Referee and Refereeing Committee, Ibrahim Hasanbegović.

A representative of the BH Telekom, Kemal Avdagić, presented the fair-play award to FK Krupa.

The best player of the Premier Women’s League of Bosnia and Herzegovina this year is Selma Kapetanović from SFK 2000 Sarajevo, while the award for the best goalkeeper was won by Elma Kundić from Iskra Bugojno.

Kapetanović defeated Nikolina Vujadin (Lokomotiva) and Minela Gačanica (Emina), while Kundić left behind Envera Hasanbegović from SFK 2000, and Indira Faković from Emina.

The awards for the best football players were presented by the FF BH executive director of the Sports Sector, Elmir Pilav.

The best player of the BH Premier Futsal League is Marijo Aladžić, member of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s champion, Mostar SG Staklorad, and the award for the best goalkeeper ended in the hands of his club and national teammate, Stanislav Galić.

The FF BH second vice-president Ivan Beus handed them the awards.

Nermin Kahvedžić (Mostar SG Staklorad) and Kristijan Pantić (Brotnjo), as well as goalkeepers Andrijano Dujmović (Zrinjski) and Bekir Hodžić (Salines), were among the best competitors for the best futsal players.

The best player of the Premier U-19 Youth League of Bosnia and Herzegovina is Đani Salčin (Sarajevo) who won in the competition of Anes Mašić from Zrinjski and Faris Zubanović from Željezničar. The best goalkeeper of this competition is the same as last season, that is Jasmin Kršić from Željezničar, who received the award ahead of Belmin Dizdarević from Sarajevo, and Vojin Savić from Zrinjski. Nihad Hodžić, executive director of the FF BH Sector for Administration, handed them the awards.
