Seminar on club licensing (financial criteria)

Today, a seminar on club licensing was held at the BH FF headquarters, which dealt with topics related to the financial criteria of clubs, applicants for participation in UEFA and domestic competitions for the 2024/25 season.

The seminar was attended by authorized representatives of all clubs of the Wwin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, experts in the field of finance, members of the BH FF First- and Second-Instance Commissions on Club Licensing.

In the first part of the seminar, a presentation was held in the field of finance, followed by an open workshop with practical examples from the work of clubs from previous licensing seasons. The financial criterion in the club licensing procedure is the most demanding, and that is why it is specially organized. Experts from the field of finance have prepared a very high-quality presentation on the adopted model for filling out tables and submitting documentation through the “MyComet” System in the coming period. In the second part of the seminar, there was also an interactive workshop, in which all seminar participants actively participated.

The BH FF general secretary Adnan Džemidžić stated:

“Today’s seminar represents an important step in the preparation of the Wwin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina clubs for the next season. The financial officers of all clubs had the opportunity to familiarize themselves in detail with the financial criteria necessary for the licensing process for the 2024/25 season, both for UEFA competitions and domestic competitions. Club representatives were provided with guidelines and explanations of all the requirements they would have to meet, in order to be provided with a license. The permanent communication of all interested participants in the licensing process has shown how important the exchange of information is in this period. I believe that after today’s seminar, the representatives of our clubs also received complete information about future activities with clearly defined deadlines for fulfilling obligations. The licensing process is becoming an increasingly demanding and complex task year after year. I am convinced that all our applicant clubs will successfully implement it in the coming period.”
