In a derby on Saturday, November 2 at 18:00, SFK 2000 Sarajevo hosts Libero from Goražde at the Otoka stadium.
Head coach Samira Hurem commented ahead of the match: “After the break, we’re back with a league match against Libero, who’ve shown good form in their last two games. We’re expecting a great game at Otoka, and of course, our goal is to continue our winning streak.”
Player Alma Kamerić is also optimistic: “After a short break, we’re returning to our championship. The opponent has shown strong play in recent matches, but we’re aiming for a win and plan to continue playing well.”
Libero’s coach, Emir Sarajlić, said: “First and foremost, I have tremendous respect for SFK 2000 Sarajevo, who’ve been untouchable in domestic competitions for years. We’ll be significantly weakened against the strongest possible opponent, missing five regular starters who have been key to our game. Realistically, even if we had a complete team, it would be tough to outplay the multiple national champions, and under these circumstances, it’s much harder. Nonetheless, we’ll come out with determination and aim to resist as much as possible. Whatever the result, let it reflect a fair and sporting competition.”
Libero player Jovana Vučinić added: “We’re expecting a very tough and demanding match, but we’re here to give our best as we’ve done in previous games. We won’t be at full strength, which will be a problem, but I believe in myself and my team to play well, which is our main priority.”
Sloboda will take on Iskra in Tuzla on Sunday, while the Leotar-Radnik Bumerang match has been postponed to November 13.
