Three matches are scheduled. On Saturday, March 7 at 14:00, Iskra will face Spartak 2013 in Bugojno, while Fortuna and SFK 2000 Sarajevo will meet in Šerići. On Sunday, March 8, the match Leotar–Libero will be played in Trebinje, while the Radnik BetOle–Emina match has been postponed.
In the round’s derby, Leotar will host Libero, and the home team’s head coach Jelena Milović said before the match: “After the winter break, the team is eager for competitive matches and I believe we used the preparation period well. We’re facing Libero, a team that certainly has quality and one we must approach very seriously. We’re currently in fourth place in the standings and want to start the second part of the season in the right way, with a strong performance and points that would help us stay close to the teams at the top.”
Leotar player Anja Stević stated: “I think we prepared well during the break and we can’t wait for the championship to resume. We’re aware that a demanding match against Libero awaits us, but I believe in our team and in the work we’ve done in training during the past period. If we stay focused and play our game, I believe we can achieve a positive result.”
Emir Sarajlić, head coach of Libero: “An important match awaits us in Trebinje against Leotar. We know it’ll be a tough game, but our team worked hard during the preparation period and is ready for the continuation of the league. We’re highly motivated and will give our best to achieve the best possible result. Leotar are the hosts and will certainly try to make things difficult, but we believe in our game and are ready to face all challenges on the field.”
Libero first-team player Anja Simeunović said ahead of tomorrow’s match: “The second part of the season begins and our first match in this stage is ahead. I believe in my team and in the work we put in during the previous period. We know a quality opponent is waiting and that it won’t be easy, but we’re ready to show the character and quality we have. I expect us to give our maximum and show our value on the field.”
