Premier Women’s League: Round 3 of Championship and Relegation Leagues

This weekend brings Round 3 duels of the 2025/26 Bosnia and Herzegovina Women’s Premier League within the Championship League and the Relegation League.

In the Championship League, second-placed ŽF/NK Emina will host ŽFK Leotar in Mostar. The match is scheduled for Sunday, April 26 at 13:00 at the Rođeni stadium. It’ll be broadcast live on the official FFBiH YouTube channel.

Emina head coach Zijo Tojaga said ahead of the match: “We’re expecting a demanding game against a quality opponent with its own ambitions in the Championship League. It’s a young and talented team that plays with lots of energy and desire to prove themselves. We play at home and want to continue with good results, and our players are highly motivated to show that on the pitch. The key will be discipline and maximum effort for all 90 minutes. I’d like to invite all football fans to come, support the girls, and enjoy a quality match.”

Emina player Merima Gradinović stated: “We’re aware of the importance of this match and we’ve prepared well. The atmosphere in the team is great, and I believe that with support from the stands we can get three new points.”

Leotar head coach Jelena Milović said: “Emina is one of the strongest teams in the league, but we believe in our abilities. We’re going to Mostar to play bravely and try to achieve a positive result. It’s important to stay focused and make the most of our chances.”

Leotar player Ana Jurić also shared her expectations: “We know a tough match awaits us, but games like this are extra motivation for every player. We’ll give our maximum on the pitch, and I believe we can deliver a quality performance against a strong opponent.”

In the other Championship League match, leaders SFK 2000 Sarajevo visit ŽFK Radnik BetoLe in Bijeljina. The match will be played on Sunday, April 26 at 13:00 at the auxiliary pitch of the City Stadium.

As for the Relegation League, an exciting game is expected, with SFK Libero and ŽNK Iskra Bugojno tied at the top with 21 points each.

Libero will host ŽFK Fortuna Živinice in Goražde, with the match set for Sunday, April 26 at 17:00 at the Midhat Drljević stadium.

In Laktaši, ŽFK Spartak 2013 will host ŽNK Iskra Bugojno. That match is scheduled for Sunday, April 26 at 16:00 at the FK Laktaši Stadium.
