Third Round of the Women’s Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina

This weekend, the matches of Round 3 of the Women’s Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the 2025/26 season are on the schedule.

The first match will be played on Saturday, September 13, at 16:00 at the “Jaklić” Stadium in Bugojno, where ŽNK Iskra will face ŽFK Leotar.

Iskra’s assistant coach, Asmer Mašić, said ahead of the match:
“This weekend we are expecting a derby clash with Leotar in which I expect good play from my players, that we continue our series of positive results, and secure a victory.”

The captain of the Bugojno team, Marina Lukić-Mustafić, added:
“I expect maximum effort from my teammates in the match against Leotar. We have prepared well, and with quality play, a good result will follow. I also invite our fans to come and support us, and we will repay them with committed play and a positive outcome.”

Leotar’s goalkeeper coach, Veso Klimović, said:
“The match in Bugojno against Iskra will certainly be very difficult because they are a team of quality players and a regular member of the Women’s Premier League of BiH. Our girls are working hard and with quality, which is evident through their progress on the pitch, and at the same time they respect and value their opponents, regardless of the club’s name. We are ready for this match with the desire to achieve a favorable result and make our loyal fans happy.”

Leotar player Andrea Ivanović also praised the opponent:
“In the third round we face a very demanding away game against Iskra from Bugojno. It is up to us to take the match seriously and give our best in order to once again collect points away from home. I expect a very competitive match, but I believe our team spirit and togetherness will help us achieve our goals.”

The match between Iskra and Leotar will be broadcast live on the official YouTube channel of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Two more third-round fixtures are scheduled for Sunday, September 14, 2025. At the “Midhat Drljević” Stadium in Goražde, Libero will host Fortuna at 16:30, while Spartak 2013 will take on Radnik BetOle at 18:00 at the City Stadium in Laktaši.
