The workshop was opened by General secretary Adnan Džemidžić, who highlighted that the Federation has been placing special focus on developing and promoting women’s football in recent years.
Given that the seminar focused on clubs' media promotion, media, and social networks, the workshop was led by Dajana Pašić, a communications and social media expert, along with FFBiH employees Ivana Vlaić (senior associate for women’s football and project leader) and Slavica Pecikoza (head of the PR department).
Vlaić briefed the clubs on the details of the project, for which UEFA approved funding under the HatTrick VI program, outlining the objectives and responsibilities of the clubs. Pecikoza explained how the PR department operates in terms of media promotion at both club and national team levels, while Pašić provided guidelines on best practices and useful tools for creating social media content.
Club representatives from our elite women's competition noted that the interactive workshop was refreshing, and they received many practical tips they could use in promoting their teams and daily activities.
FFBiH is currently in the process of drafting a Women’s Football Development Strategy, and club representatives hope this strategy will not only promote football but also support all women in sports and accelerate its development.
