Široki Brijeg achieved 5 wins, 2 draws and 6 losses with a goal difference 36:26.
Toni Karačić, the head of the club’s youth team, believes that the team will be more active in the spring:
“In this half-season, we practically played with players a year younger and six players signed contracts with the first senior team. Looking through the results, we expect more for the spring. Now the team is more playful and can be better. However, regarding the youth football, a measure is not only the result. In our league, team play a meaningful football and you can see a lot of interesting matches. Of course, we're looking to get even better results, but it’s also important to create good players.”
Karačić says on preparations for the U-19 team of Široki Brijeg for the continuation of the competition:
“We worked well in this preparatory period. The boys had strong checks against the juniors of Hrvatski Dragovoljac and Maribor, as well as senior teams from Neretvanac and Branitelj. We will readily wait for the continuation of the competition.”
The best scorer of the team is Luka Knežević with 11 goals and Roberto Ćosić scored 8. Domagoj Marušić shook the opponent’s nets five times, while Josip Barišić and Slaven Domančić entered four times in the scorers’ list. Kristijan Dadić, Roko Kosir, Kristijan Medić and Lovro Musa scored 1 goal.
