Sergej Barbarez's team continues to work hard on its final preparations ahead of the upcoming World Cup matches, and today's training session took place in a positive atmosphere with maximum commitment from all players.
The coaching staff continues to implement its planned activities, while the players are improving their form and readiness through every training session for the challenges awaiting them at the world's biggest football tournament.
Before training, Nikola Katić and Nikola Vasilj spoke to media representatives.
Katić: "We've been here for quite a while now and have adapted to the time difference. We're preparing in excellent conditions and we're happy to be here. We're not thinking about how far we'll go at the World Cup; the most important thing for us is today's training session, and that's how we'll approach everything until the match with Canada. We've earned our place here and have an obligation to prepare properly and be at our best when the matches begin."
Vasilj: "After such a long journey, it wasn't easy to adjust to the time difference. It took us several days to adapt, and the match against Panama in St. Louis showed that the conditions aren't exactly easy. However, we've gotten used to it now. The match against Canada is ahead of us. They'll be without Davies, but they're a team that has a lot to offer. They have a quality team."
The Dragons will complete another training session tomorrow at 10:30 local time at Centennial Park in Toronto.
