Sergej Barbarez's team looked slightly more dangerous in the opening stages and threatened as early as the 4', when Kerim Alajbegović struck the crossbar following an excellent individual run. Just a minute later, Amar Dedić set up Esmir Bajraktarević, whose effort was blocked by the visiting defense.
In the 32', the visitors had a major opportunity. Following a mix-up in BiH's defense, the ball reached Bojan Miovski, who managed to lob Martin Zlomislić, but Stjepan Radeljić reacted brilliantly on the goal line to prevent a certain goal.
Two minutes later, the Dragons had another chance. In a crowded penalty area, Jovo Lukić and Samed Baždar tried to force the ball into the net, but the Macedonians managed to clear it from their box.
Our biggest chance late in the first half came in stoppage time. Bajraktarević delivered a precise cross, and Samed Baždar's header struck the post, leaving the score unchanged.
The pace dropped in the second half as both teams made several substitutions. Ermedin Demirović had the best opportunity after the break in the 69', but his shot went wide.
Late in the game, the Dragons threatened again. Ivan Bašić delivered an excellent free kick in the 80', but North Macedonia's goalkeeper managed to keep his net intact with considerable effort.
Before the start of the World Cup, the Dragons will play one more warm-up match against Panama in St. Louis on June 6.
