In the round’s derby, Leotar Trebinje will host reigning champions SFK 2000 Sarajevo at Police. Both teams come in with good mood; Leotar won away at Fortuna in the opener, while Sarajevo had a strong run in Europe, qualifying for the UEFA Europa Cup.
Leotar coach Jelena Milović: "In the next round we’re facing SFK 2000, the reigning champions, whom we congratulate on their great Champions League run and wish lots of luck in European challenges. They’re a team that deserves great respect, but we believe in our work and quality and that we’ll give them a serious fight on the pitch."
Captain Anja Stević: "In Round 2 we’re up against a tough and demanding opponent SFK, who’ve been champions for years. We had great preparations, as shown in Round 1 with our away win. I believe in my team and that we’ll give everything to put in a good performance against the Sarajevo side. I call on all fans to come to Police and support us. I also want to wish SFK good luck in their Europa Cup matches."
SFK 2000 Sarajevo coach Valentin Plavčić: "After a strong performance in Europe and reaching the UEFA Europa Cup, we’re turning to domestic competition and the trip to Leotar. Our goal is clear – we want to play disciplined, impose our style of play, and get the three points. We trained well this week, the team’s ready, and I believe we’ll show that on the pitch."
Sarajevo captain Alisa Spahić: "We’re up against a good opponent. We know we’ve got to play very seriously and focused from the first to the last minute. The atmosphere in the team is excellent, we trust one another, and I expect we’ll make our fans happy with another victory."
