“We have been preparing for this hosting for the third year, and that day has finally come when we will start with the final preparations. The girls are in good shape, we have no problems with injuries. Matches with the best European teams await us. We believe that we will show a good game at the tournament, leave our hearts on the pitch and with the support of the fans, but also the media, achieve the best possible result”, said the head coach Lucić.

Captain Gloria Slišković said:

“Today we started preparations for the EURO. The great thing for us is that one such competition is being held in Bosnia and Herzegovina and we are looking forward to the first match. I also invite the fans to support us in large numbers. We have already played with strong national teams and difficult matches await us. However, we are playing on our pitch and that will be our advantage over other teams.”

National team player Ajla Balić expects good games of the BH team:

“We are happy that we have started preparations. We have a good team and the atmosphere among the players is great. In addition, we are playing in front of our fans and I believe that we will show ourselves in the best light. We know what to expect from the opponent and we are aware that these are the best national teams in Europe at this age. All this is more of a motive for us to play as well as possible and achieve positive results.”

Opponents of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Group A will be Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark.
