The women’s U-17 national team of Germany was better than their peers from France, winning 1:0.
The first half brought an open game on both sides and the audience could see several opportunities, but the nets did not shake until the 40th minute. Alara Sehitler started a solo breakthrough from the middle of the pitch, and shot strongly and accurately from twenty meters for the lead of Germany.
In the second half, the German team had the initiative, but the result did not change.
The second semi-final match between Spain and the Netherlands will be played tonight at 20:00 at the Grbavica Stadium in Sarajevo.
