Legacy

Norway has played in the European Championship four times so far, of which three times they managed to pass the group stage and qualify for the semifinals, which was their biggest achievement.

The German national team is the absolute record holder in the number of trophies won and the most successful national team in the history of the competition. The Germans lifted the trophy 7 times (2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2019). They lost once in 2018 final, while in 2010 and 2011 they won a bronze medal.

This will be Finland's second participation in the final tournament of the European WU-17 Championships. The only time they participated so far was in 2018 in Lithuania, and then they won a bronze medal, beating England in the match for 3rd place with a score of 2: 1.

This will be the fifth participation of the Dutch in the European Championships. The Netherlands won the only medal at the last championship played in Bulgaria in 2019, when they lost to Germany in the final after a penalty shootout. They reached the semifinals two more times, and now they are considered one of the favorites of this championship.

Denmark has participated in three European Championships so far, and this will be their fourth participation. In the previous three performances, the Danes managed to win a bronze medal twice, in 2008 and 2012.
