Bilino Polje Stadium is one of the most recognizable sporting venues in Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly known as the home of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team and NK Čelik. Located in the centre of Zenica, a city with a strong sporting tradition and energy felt at every step, the stadium represents a combination of history and fan passion.
Opened in 1972, Bilino Polje has undergone numerous renovations to meet the standards required for hosting top-level international matches. Originally with a capacity of 30,000, the installation of seating and upgrades reduced capacity to approximately 13,000.
Zenica has long hosted some of the national team’s most important matches, giving the stadium a reputation as a place where major sporting stories unfold. The atmosphere at Bilino Polje is often described as unique, with fans close to the pitch, adding special dynamics to matches.
At the UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship 2026, Bilino Polje will play a crucial role. In addition to group-stage matches, key placement matches will take place here, thanks to the stadium’s technical capabilities. The city of Zenica and Bilino Polje Stadium have proven to be excellent hosts in the past, and the tournament is expected to be organised at the highest level.
