Austria secured its place in Bosnia and Herzegovina by finishing first in Round 2 Group A4. In a highly competitive group, the Austrians recorded two wins and one defeat, finishing ahead of Scotland and Norway thanks to a superior goal difference.

Midfielder Greta Spinn was the standout performer during qualifying, finishing as Austria’s top scorer with six goals. Austria scored 21 goals in six qualifying matches, including an impressive 12:0 victory over Estonia in the first qualifying round.

The team arrives in Bosnia and Herzegovina with growing confidence and the ambition of reaching the knockout stage for the first time in its history.
