Introducing the Participants (1): Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina secured qualification for the UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship as the host of the final tournament and will compete in a group with Poland, Germany, and Sweden.

During the qualifying campaign, the “Dragon Girls” recorded three wins, one draw, and two defeats, with a goal difference of 20:6. This will be the first appearance of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s women’s U-19 national team at a major tournament and a great opportunity to achieve a notable result in front of the home crowd.

As a reminder, Bosnia and Herzegovina also hosted the UEFA Women’s Under-17 European Championship in 2022, where the current captain of this team, Una Rankić, played as a fifteen-year-old girl.
