Austria recorded their second consecutive victory of the tournament, defeating Switzerland 3-1 at Grbavica Stadium in Sarajevo. Austria took the lead just before half-time through Katie Richter in the 41st minute before Valentina Illinger doubled the advantage in the 59th minute. Switzerland pulled one back in the 70th minute thanks to Rahel Hinder, but Austria sealed the victory in stoppage time when Gerta Spinn scored in the second minute of added time to make it 3-1.
In the other Group B fixture, played at the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina Training Centre in Zenica, reigning European champions Spain comfortably defeated Iceland 4-0, wrapping up the victory before half-time. All four goals came in the opening 45 minutes, with Celia Segura scoring in the 19th minute, Rosalía finding the net in the 23rd and 30th minutes, and Alba Cerrato adding the fourth in the 43rd minute.
After two rounds, Austria top Group B with six points and have already secured a place in the semi-finals. Spain are second with four points, Switzerland are third with one point, while Iceland remain bottom without a point.
