In the group's decisive match, played at Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica, Spain defeated Austria 2-1 to finish top of the group with seven points. Spain took the lead in the 20th minute through Alba Cerrato, who converted a penalty, before Gurtubay doubled the advantage in the 43rd minute. Austria pulled one back just before half-time through Makalić, but were unable to find an equaliser in the second half.
At the Asim Ferhatović Hase Stadium in Sarajevo, Switzerland defeated Iceland 4-3 in an entertaining encounter. Switzerland's goals were scored by Schallberger (16'), Pfister (28', 63' pen.) and Rondalli (45+2'), while Magnúsdóttir (26', 70') and Van Bemmel (83') found the net for Iceland.
Despite the victory, Switzerland's four points were not enough to secure a place in the semi-finals, as they finished third in the group. Austria claimed second place with six points to join Spain in the knockout stage.
The semi-finals will be played on 7 July. Spain will face Sweden at 16:00 at FFBH Training Center in Zenica, while Germany will take on Austria at 20:00 at Grbavica Stadium in Sarajevo.
