The decisive stage of the qualification campaign begins

This week marks the start of the second round of qualifications for the UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship (League A), which will take place from June 27 to July 10, 2026, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is the final stage of the qualification cycle, after which the national teams that will join the host at the final tournament will be known.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, as the host nation, has already secured its place at the UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship. League A features 28 teams divided into seven groups. The group winners will qualify for the final tournament and join Bosnia and Herzegovina at the WU19 EURO 2026.

League A groups:

A1 (April 9–15): England, Switzerland*, Wales, Latvia
A2 (April 12–18): Poland*, Greece, Belgium, Romania
A3 (April 10–16): Norway, Scotland*, Austria, North Macedonia
A4 (April 9–15): Denmark*, Iceland, Serbia, Finland
A5 (April 11–17): Italy, Sweden*, Netherlands, Ukraine
A6 (April 10–16): France, Germany*, Republic of Ireland, Slovakia
A7 (April 12–18): Spain (title holders), Portugal*, Northern Ireland, Hungary

The final tournament draw will take place on April 22 in Sarajevo.
