With a 1:0 home victory a week ago, the Banja Luka team achieved a major success by advancing to the next stage of this competition.
The hosts had a golden opportunity in the 7th minute, but Filip Manojlović denied Alejandro Blanco’s penalty. Borac also created chances in the first half, but Đorđe Despotović (32') and David Vuković (43') failed to capitalize from promising positions.
In the 57th minute, Vuković tried a long-range shot, but Olimpija’s goalkeeper Matevž Vidovšek managed to deflect the ball out for a corner. Both teams had several attempts on goal in the second half, but the score remained unchanged.
