The UEFA WU19 EURO Trophy Tour has successfully concluded after travelling through numerous cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina over the past weeks and bringing together thousands of participants ahead of the UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship.
The final stops of this unique journey were Bijeljina, Ilijaš and the closing event in Sarajevo, where girls, boys and their families had the opportunity to enjoy sports activities, social gatherings and experience the UEFA Women’s Under-19 EURO trophy up close.
Throughout the events, visitors took part in a variety of interactive zones and fun activities including microsoccer, football darts, table football and foot tennis. Participants also had the opportunity to collect stamps on their Trophy Tour cards and win valuable prizes during the tournament.
The Trophy Tour gained special value through the energy and strong turnout in every host city, where sport, play and shared experiences helped promote women’s football and bring the upcoming European Championship closer to younger generations.
The final event in Sarajevo symbolically marked the end of the trophy’s journey across Bosnia and Herzegovina and the beginning of the final countdown to kick-off at the UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship.
The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina would like to thank all partners, local organisers, clubs, volunteers and thousands of participants who were part of the UEFA WU19 EURO Trophy Tour and helped create an atmosphere that serves as the perfect introduction to this major European tournament in our country.
